  34. 1.1  What is Matchup Football?
  35. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

  37.   Matchup Football is a football simulator / game. It matches up 2 teams
  38. and their statistics and allows for the Matchups that were never possible.  
  39. Imagine Montana vs. Namath.  Players of today can face the greats from earlier 
  40. eras. How about the '80's Niners vs. the '70's Steelers or todays Packers vs.
  41. Super Bowl I champs!

  43.   The outcome is NOT random, rather based on the statistics of the players
  44. matched up. Just pick the teams to Matchup and kickoff. You control the 
  45. speed of simulation and can select run, pass, kick, or punt. Watch the 
  46. suspenseful play-by-play or you can use the Lightning feature to complete
  47. a game in just seconds.

  49.   Even Edit/Create your own teams! The Stats are in comma delimited text
  50. format so they are easily imported into spreadsheet programs.

  52.   View the statistics of a Matchup Football team (*.fb).

  54.   Play one game at a time, try an entire 16 game season, or a season
  55. of any length.

  60.  Just select the Home and Visiting teams along with their starting lineups and
  61. kickoff! You have the ability to control the speed of game simulation.  
  62. Use the Lightning feature to complete the game in just seconds.  
  63. Use the 'Hurry-Up Offense' feature to flip through matchups quickly or use the Cruise 
  64. Control button to relax and enjoy the play-by-play.  
  65.   Edit/Create your own teams! Select from existing stats or make them up.
  66. The Stats are in comma delimited text format so they are easily imported into
  67. spreadsheet programs.

  97. Shareware is a distribution method that gives users a chance to try software
  98. before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, 
  99. you are required to register it.  It is a nice concept for both users and
  100. programmers.
